“The truth is always attacked, it is always attacked. We live in a modern world; evolution has carried out a massive assault on the truth by denying that there needs to be a cause for the effect of the universe. What kind of idiocy is that?” - John Macarthur “When God Abandons a Nation” http://www.gty.org/resources.phpsection=transcripts&aid=233571/

“So if you put stock in the inspired word of God as not just creating arguments out of nothing, but as being rooted in history and therefore able to relate to future real-life history, namely our lives, I would say the denial of the historical person of Adam is a gospel-threatening denial.” - John Piper
